The three-layer material has a special self-extinguishing layer on the intake side of the engine intake.

It is a material that resists the reverse self-ignition of exhaust gases in the intake sector.

These air filters have been developed for 4-T engines where this phenomenon occurs when the engine is revving, for example during a quick downshift.

There is therefore a 5 mm thick self-extinguishing layer on the suction side.

The middle layer is the same as 11mm for two layers, only 6mm thick.

The top layer is again 5 mm.

Here, too, the total strength is 16mm.
